MND press release as multiple types of Chinese aircrafts taking off in the air at 0700 from Chinese Eastern Military Zone for long-ranged training off Taiwan’s ADIZ. The National Force is able to surveil and respond to it. (July 13th, 2017)
MND indicated (13) that at 0700 there were multiple types of Chinese aircrafts in the air from Chinese Eastern Military Zone and were heading for long-ranged training. Amid them a wing of Xian H-6 flew through Bashi Channel off Taiwan’s southern ADIZ and then back to base. Another wing of Xian H-6 flew through Miyako Kaikyo to western Pacific and then back to base.
MND addressed that both wings were flying beyond the extent of Taiwan’s ADIZ and the National Force is capable of tracking and responding to them.
